 Full Service Restoration Professionals

PHB Restoration Inc., is owned & operated by a father & son duo of licensed general contractors with over 65 years of combined hands-on experience in building custom new homes, remodels and restoration projects. Despite building over 40 new homes, multi-unit / commercial buildings, Adu's, and thousands of remodels, we have spent the last 9 years focused on handling insurance claims and restoring homes to their pre-loss condition after a catastrophic loss.

Damages caused by water, fire, smoke, and/or floods can be devastating to any owner and/or renter. The notion of having to navigate through the slew of mitigation companies, abatement services, restoration contractors, and dealing with the logistical maze of negotiating with your insurer will cause a seemingly insurmountable level of stress to an already very difficult process. PHB Restoration Inc., seamlessly solves this logistical nightmare in that our highly experienced staff specializes in dealing with the insurance claims process, settling your claim and restoring your property to better than its pre-loss condition. We're not just your average restoration professional.

Most of the larger restoration franchises don't tell you that they are registered as "Preferred Contractors/vendors" with many different insurance companies that feed them a steady workload. Unfortunately, this often creates a conflict of interest that may be detrimental to you and the outcome of your claim. More often than not, such Preferred Vendors are limited and trained to view your claim in a myopic manner meant to minimize the scope of your claim and ensure the bare minimum gets approved. Their have been multiple occasions where we are called to come out to a claim in progress by an irate homeowner that is in the process of kicking out a 'Preferred Contractor' from their restoration project because the approved scope of repairs and workmanship was less than the minimum needed to properly restore their home or business. Although we can take over the project and advocate on the homeowner's behalf at that point until they are made whole again, the we homeowner(s) on average have already lost 2 to 6 months of time going back and forth in a war of attrition with their insurer. Don't fall victim to these tactics, call an industry professional. Call PHB Restoration Inc.

We do not bill our clients for any of our estimating or settlement services because we direct bill your insurance company as the contractor assigned to your claim. Homeowners have no out-of-pocket expenses, whether or not we are compensated by the insurer. Our decades worth of experience in dealing with adjusters among many of the larger insurance companies in the Los Angeles and Ventura County areas has enabled us to establish a reputation for settling claims in good faith. In turn, we have been able to maintain good working relationships with many insurance adjusters, public adjusters, bad-faith litigators, and many more professionals in the field. These relationships have been cultivated over a decade dealing in claims and have been primarily based on a mutual respect for the manner in which we utilize fair dealing & good faith when attempting to settle any claim.

Our in-house claims department includes up to two professional estimators that previously served as large loss adjusters for different insurers. In turn, we can assure you that the true value of your loss will be methodically detailed and accurately calculated. We use the same software created by and for insurers when documenting every aspect of your claim starting with every phone call and/or electronic discussion with your insurer. In the rare event that your loss is not initially covered, we've already begun building a litigation package for your claim, which, in-turn, will be handed-off to an associate law firm to bring a bad faith litigation claim against the insurance company. In fact, David, a company partner, has practiced in the field of insurance litigation and has represented the City of Los Angeles working for the City Attorney's office in the civil liabilities division. While representing you in the claims process as the contractor, not as an attorney, he utilizes his legal experience to settle the claim equitably while also building a litigation package ready for an attorney to take over at any time.

Our field technicians and partners are IICRC certified restoration professionals that provide emergency mitigation services 24/7. Moreover, our lead technician not only carries multiple IICRC certifications, but is also a general contractor with over 42 years of licensed experience. The benefit of employing knowledgeable & tenured professionals is that we are ready and able to expedite the resolution of your claim and ensure that it is settled in a fair and just manner. Members of our team have been certified as expert witnesses in their respective fields and have testified in multiple bad-faith insurance trials. Working in conjunction with certified structural & soil engineers, re-creation specialists, expert general contractors, etc., helps us provide an expedited approach to substantiate the facts of any claim whenever questions regarding causation or doubts are presented by the insurer.

No other restoration company can offer you the peace of mind that comes with having such a comprehensive team of industry professionals ready to handle your claim FREE OF CHARGE to the Homeowner. When we take on a claim, we advocate on your behalf to ensure that your restoration project will be adequately covered in the amount needed to restore your home or business to its pre-loss condition and then we work with you step-by-step to rebuild it.

Once a member of our staff arrives at your job-site, they will immediately assess the extent of the damage and attempt to ascertain the proximate cause of the damage sustained. When completed, we will sit down with you to discuss the scope of damage and needed repairs. Various legal principles and rights impose certain obligations on each party to an insurance claim. Failure to exercise your legal rights at various junctures during the claims process may cause some serious monetary shortfalls when it comes to the restoration of your home or business.
