Unfortunately, this also means that the restoration company will typically minimize the scope of your claim and ensure that the bare minimum is claimed for repairs. Their have been multiple occasions where we are called to come out to a claim in progress by an irate homeowner that is in the process of kicking out a 'Preferred Contractor' from their restoration project because the approved scope of repairs was less than the bear minimum needed to properly restore their home or business. Don't fall victim to these tactics, call the professionals.
